About Us – Who Are We?

Hope is defined by 5 main gears, which work together to define our community.

Worship God

We exist to first and foremost worship God. We are first of all a Worshipping Community. This means our worship is an absolute priority and will receive a great deal of attention. We will pour resources into our worship and offer up the best we can to God, remembering at all times that our worship has an audience of one. We are not the audience at worship, but He is.

Caring Community

As the family of God we strive to be a caring community. We are committed to support and encourage each other in our Christian lives, and in our worship and witness. Whatever grace we receive from God’s hand we will strive to pass on to others, especially those in the Church Community.

Serious Discipleship

Through the encouragement of “self-feeding” personal devotions and fellowship opportunities, we will do all we can to encourage each professing believer toward maturity in the faith. We will help believers identify and develop their giftedness and potential in service to God and the Church.

Taking God’s Love to the Streets

The message of God’s love and forgiveness will first and foremost be carried in the hearts and live of believers who recognise the importance of living a life that truly pleases God. A life that both represents and resembles Him. We will resource and train believers to be prepared for personal and public witness.

Doing Good to All

We are inspired by Galatians 6:10 – Taking every opportunity to do good to all, especially those of the household of faith. Rather than be constrained by our limitations, we choose to focus on and embrace every opportunity for good, God being our guide and helper.
